Every year I look forward to going to my family’s lodge in Lake Pleasant, NY. The lodge is filled with taxidermy, Adirondack mementos of days past and family history. The view from the porch that makes me smile every time. Here are a few images from this past weekend.

Raleigh and Bailey are such loyal dogs, you can see it in their eyes when they look lovingly at Mare or Dave. Raleigh is a soulful dog, who tugs at your heart. Bailey on the other hand is a bit of a ham, who works for treats!

Dog Day + Busy Bones = 100 dogs in the Buyce Booth! WHEW!
The goal of these two events is to raise money to build the new Saratoga County Animal Shelter and to support Safe Pet Partnership. Safe Pet Partnership is a organization that fosters dogs and cats when a victim of domestic violence goes into a domestic violence shelter. In an abusive situation, some women will not leave the home, because they do not want to leave their pets behind. Safe Pet Partnership alleviates that worry by caring for their pets, while they seek support.
