Gretchen & Lawrence tie the knot!

Gretchen and Lawrence were married May 22, 2010.  They had a gorgeous day and a laid back reception at the Ft. Orange Club in Albany, NY.  1950’s classic convertible cars were on hand for plenty of photo opportunities!  Some unique aspects of their wedding: a cookie station and hand wrapped dog treats for guest to bring home to their 4-legged friends!

Gretchen and Lawrence:  “I wish you a lifetime of laughter and love!”

Much love,
t.

Great shots! And gorgeous bouquet. As a lover of old cars (and trucks) – love the car shots – the one is like that famous picture of the two hanging out the window to get a kiss. Super fun!

Happy hot Tuesday!

Pete and I have been discussing where to go for our Late Fall  vacation.  They are so many cool places, it’s overwhelming.  I thought, who better to ask that my amazing clients, whom honeymoon all over the world!   So please share where you have been, where you are going or  where you would like to go!  I would love some great ideas!

Much love,
t.
No post is complete without an image.  I  made this image of Leeds Castle in Bearsted, England,  in April.  This castle was adored by Henry the VIII.  He stayed here on a  journey to visit the King of France.  Henry the VIII was not a  very good husband, but, he did have good taste in castles!

I second Southern Spain – namely Sevilla! Jenn and I backpacked Spain/Portugal last year and Sevilla was quite possibly the best place we have ever been!

Lawrence and I just got back from our mini-moon in Punta Cana, which was nice, if a bit boring. I highly recommend Morocco. It is am amazing place (I went to Tangiers, but there are even more beautiful places). There’s the whole exotic/sexy adventure vibe and if you’re into photography – wow.

Haven’t honeymooned yet, but would highly recommend southern Spain! Lived there for 4 months and fell in love…what a culture! So laid back, welcoming, great food, great wine, beautiful beaches. :)

Nadia & Richard: The Inn at Erlowest

Nadia and Richard were married this past Saturday, May 15th at the Inn at Erlowest.   Nadia and Richard reside in one of the most beautiful parts of the world,  Tortola in the British Virgin Islands.  However, they chose our local beauty, the Adirondacks, to say I do.
A small group of close family and friends gathered from around the globe, including: India, Great Britain, France and BVI.   The had a beautiful, laid back wedding, with no formalities.  In lieu of wedding gifts, they asked guests to make a donation to Foundation Rwanda.  This is a great charity, definitely check out their website.

Nadia & Richard:  “It was so nice to finally meet you both and document your wedding day!  I wish you love, laughter and many long years together.”

Much love,
t.
