Hi All!

Welcome to my new site! I hope you love it as much as I do!

I shot an amazing, very non-traditional wedding on 9.26.09  at the beautiful Pompanuck Farm in Cambridge, NY.

Here is Gerri and Jeremy story in their own words.

“When we first started planning our wedding we sat down with a list of things we wanted. Organic/local delicious foods, beautiful grounds and a place where friends and family could come together and relax. Pompanuck Farm Institute in Cambridge was the perfect place for that. Being from Philly I would have a number of guests driving up and my goal was to have our guests comfortable and make it into a little weekend getaway. Pompanuck offers so many wonderful ways to relax, a sauna, Tai Ji and massages, which of course I indulged in all. Our wedding weekend started with a goat roast/BBQ prepared by Dan Spitz a great chef who loves to work with local foods. The next day after our Tai Ji class (instructed by Scott Corrino of Pompanuck) Jeremy and I made our way to the Amphitheater (the wedding site) to create the circle that we would later say our vows in. This was a great idea from our officiant, Mary Muncil. We wanted to do something that symbolized us coming together, but didn’t want to do the traditional candle lighting so we brought meaningful items from home and arranged them in a circle large enough for the both of us to stand in. During the ceremony we walked over to the circle, stepped inside, and said our vows. It really was a heart-felt experience. One that I’ll always remember. I cried like a baby through the whole thing! After the ceremony Tracey took photos of us all around Pompanuck. She did a great job … even stood on an old chair very close to the edge of the lake to get shots of us on the steps to the sauna. I can still remember watching the chair shake and thinking, “Oh god, please don’t let her fall into the lake.” But she didn’t and got the shot. Whew! After the photo session we met everyone for the wedding dinner, which was amazing. Sue Quillio from Spoonful Catering made butternut squash raviolis (so delish), fresh greens and chicken … wow the chicken. Judith, my now mother-in-law, raised the chickens for us and Sue did an awesome job cooking them up. Doesn’t get more local and fresh than that! Everything (and everyone) was so wonderful. Reflecting back, I wouldn’t have changed a thing…”

Gerri and Jeremy: Amazing happiness and bliss for your marriage!

Much love,

Absolutely love the new website! It is stunning. It is sharp. It is you! Love the “stitched” edges and the colors – and the sassy graphic. It’s all great!!! And – we made the cut :)
This last wedding you shot is awesome! The dress on the clothes line is excellent! And that orange door is killer!
    Keep going! You rock!
