My work has been featured in several top-ranked wedding and photography publications and websites, such as: Well Wed, The Knot New York and Professional Photographer magazine.
I am extremely driven and a firm believer in continuing education. Each year, I attend several, top rated photography workshops, taught by the best photographers in the world. They instruct and inspire me to continually hone and evolve my photojournalism skills and expression as an artist. I am an active member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association, Fearless Photographers and Professional Photographers of America. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from The College of St. Rose, in Albany, with a degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I was pursuing my master’s degree in mental health counseling, when I changed paths to pursue my passion and launched my photography business.
I am a dedicated advocate for many causes. I donate my time and services to the following organizations: The Community Hospice of Saratoga, Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and Domestic Violence of Saratoga. One of my favorite charitable experiences is volunteering for CANDi International. I am proud and honored to be the official volunteer photographer for CANDi International. I document the CANDi International spay and neuter clinics and the street dogs of Mexico. My experiences and images were featured in several area newspapers, including, The Times Union, The Saratogian and Saratoga Today. I return every year to help the dogs of Mexico.
In addition, each year I give away a substantial portrait collection to a deserving family.
In short, giving back is really important to me.
