Roselee and Wade: Lake George, NY

Roselee and Wade were married at The Boathouse in Lake George, October 17, 2009.  They had a gorgeous Fall day, even though the forecast called for snow!  Roselee and Wade are such an amazing couple and so completely in love.  Their passion for the  Adirondacks was evident through every aspect of their wedding.  Even their rescue dog is named after the Adirondacks.  In fact, today is Dack’s birthday.   Happy Birthday to Dacks the dog!

A little more about their wedding in Roselee’s own words:

“Soon after Wade and I started dating, I not only fell in love with him, but he also helped me fall in love with the great outdoors.  Together, we enjoy camping, mountain biking, hiking, climbing, skiing & snowboarding, especially in the Adirondacks!  Wade proposed to me while cross-country skiing at Marcy Dam (which is my identical twin sisters name, so big points for Wade on that one!).   Our wedding was Oct 17th at The Boathouse Restaurant in Lake George, as we love the fall weather and wanted that log cabin look & feel.  Our destination weekend consisted of hiking Prospect Point Mountain, a bon fire on the beach with smores & great company of family & friends.”

Roselee and Wade: “Your wedding day was so special and I was truly honored to be a part of it.  You were such wonderful clients and now friends.”

Much love,

Their first sighting. I love when couples decide to see each other before the ceremony...It's usually the only time their alone the whole day...

The first siting also allows for plenty of time for portraits pre-ceremony. This portrait is one of my favorites!

I love the look on Wade's face!

YEAH!

Each table featured a mountain Roselee and Wade had climbed...

Loved, loved, loved the favors...

Awww....

Don't ask me why, I just really like this image...

What a beautiful wedding…and bride! The off-white dress is stunning with the fall colors! Nice non-smile.
